National Infrastructure Fund CEO praises passing of the National Infrastructure Fund Law

Infra CEO Esmail Alsallom welcomes approval of the INFRA Law, affirming INFRA’s role in boosting private investment, accelerating infrastructure, and supporting Vision 2030.

National Infrastructure Fund CEO praises passing of the National Infrastructure Fund Law
Eng. Esmail bin Mohammed Alsallom, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Infrastructure Fund, welcomed the decision approving the National Infrastructure Fund Law and conveyed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness, Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 
 
The National Infrastructure Fund (Infra) is the Kingdom’s lead development financing partner for infrastructure. Infra catalyzes higher levels of private sector investment to accelerate the delivery of infrastructure projects which drive the Kingdom’s ongoing social and economic transformation and results in increased prosperity and enhanced quality of life for all. 
 
Alsallom further added: “Infra provides a compelling blueprint for innovation in financing markets to underpin accelerated delivery of critical infrastructure in the Kingdom, by offering flexible financing solutions, delivered by a specialist team across various sectors and project types. Infra will offer a complete suite of financing solutions across the capital structure to drive higher levels of private sector investment in the Kingdom’s infrastructure markets.” 
 
The CEO also highlighted that Infra is committed to supporting critical infrastructure projects in targeted sectors including Energy, Water, Transport & Logistics, Health, Education, Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure, Energy Transition and Municipal projects. 
 
He further emphasized the determination and dedication of Infra's team of professionals with the support of its Strategic Partner BlackRock, to successfully execute Infras's strategy. He added that Infra is committed to support positioning the Kingdom as a leading infrastructure investment destination and a major contributor to the Vision 2030-goal of increased private sector participation up to 65%. 
 
In his closing remarks Alsallom highlighted: “Infra recognizes that collaboration with both domestic and international partners will be critical to achieving the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals, transitioning towards clean energy and decarbonization, and achieving net zero by 2060.”
